United Living

Tracie-Ann Price is an architectural photographer whose photographs explore the historical significance behind buildings and how this impacts their relationships with their ever-changing environments. In this project, 'United Living, ' she explores the architectural differences in the housing and living conditions of various areas within her home town of Wolverhampton and the contrasting attitudes people have towards them, from the affluent areas of Tettenhall to the towering council flats in Heath Town. Her walks in the affluent areas inspired 'United Living', where she noticed the treatment the residents of these areas had towards their homes, which were different from those she was used to seeing in the poorer area she grew up in.
